What We Did

This morning, we woke up at around 10am again. Why is it that I am waking up late day after day after day? I slept early last night as well. We did further revision on Programming and tried out the Test Papers as well, to get a feel of what to expect in the actual Theory Test. There were several questions in which I knew how to do to a certain extent, and there were also some which I didn’t know how to start as well. I really need improve my knowledge to achieve a decent grade.

At around 12.45pm, we met up with Hwee Ping to have our Lunch at Canteen 2. Sasireika didn’t join us. She needed some rest, I guess. After all, she must be pretty exhausted after staying up late for consecutive nights to complete her assignments.

During Lesson, Mr. Chua went through the Summary Sheet in detail, explaining all the aspects of what would be tested in the Final Theory Test. He also went through the 1st Revision Theory Paper that was given to us to try out to prepare us for the Theory Test on Wednesday. As he went through Chapter 5, 6 and 7 again, I began to think of some ideas which I may use for my mini-project, but they were still abstract.
There was also a 2nd Revision Paper as well, but he mentioned that he would prepare the answers for the particular paper by tomorrow. He told us of how Mr. Ma was doing in another province, which I don’t know the name as yet. Apparently, his leg condition got worse, and he was unable to move around much. I hope he gets well soon.
After Lesson, we headed back to Hostel to rest before heading out to Dinner. We headed for Dinner at the Canteen 2 at around 7pm. Following that we headed back to the hostel for Revision after getting our Bread for the next day. We didn’t stay up late tonight as the next day was our Adventure Camp organized by the University.

What We Think

Today, the entire Campus was practically deserted. There were also no lessons as well, with all the School Buildings locked as well. Today was the Qing Ming Festival (Cleaning Tomb, in direct translation). On this day, families would go to their ancestor’s tomb to clean their tombs and to offer their respects as well. This festival is also practiced in Singapore as well, but it is not declared as Leave for those working and studying. However, in China, it is considered as 3 Day Leave. This is partly due to the long distance to travel especially from one province to another. This is the reason, I presume, why many stay behind in their hostels.
